Personal History Brandon was born December 31, 2234, the youngest child of Admiral Donald Lamont. He was born into the lap of luxury as well as notaritiy with his father holding an important position within Starfleet and his mother one of the top surgeons at Starfleet Medical Facility.

Brandon and his siblings spent their early years being cared for by a nanny at the Lamont Estate which had been passed down from generations. Once they reached the age to attend school they were sent to a private boarding school where they received the best of education.

He loved school, wanting to learn as much as he could. Brandon had plans to follow his mother and become a doctor once he graduated. From the young age of eight, he was groomed to work hard so that he would be accepted at the best colleges.

Normally, during school breaks, Brandon and his siblings stayed at the school, except for Christmas, which was a mandatory time they went home , so they could be poster card children for their parents Annual Christmas Party.

It was when he was fifteen that a new student came to the school, Jason Gordon. He became Brandon’s roommate and they became fast friends. Hardly was one seen without the other.

When it came time to go home for the summer, Brandon persuaded his parents to let him go with Jason to his Uncle’s in Hawaii. Once they arrived, Jason’s Uncle put them to work helping out at his business. He flew tourists around on tours of the islands. It was the first time Brandon had done any real work and it felt good. He learned how to schedule tours, map routes to take and Jason’s uncle gave them flying lessons. For the first time in his life, he questioned who he was and what he really wanted.

When they returned to school, Brandon signed up for some alternative classes, suddenly not certain what he wanted to do. He thought about becoming a pilot, it had been a lot of fun when they had been with Jason’s uncle but it didn’t quite seem right for him.

After graduation, Brandon went home a changed person. He didn’t want to be a surgeon any longer. One of the first nights he was home he sat at the dinner table and listened to his father talk about how desperate the fleet was for personnelTwo days later Brandon went down and signed up.

Brandon wasn’t certain what he wanted to do. He looked at all the opportunities and navigation seemed to be the most in need. Brandon remembered working for Jason’s uncle and how he liked helping plot out tours. He decided this was the career for him so he majored in navigation with a minor in flight and received his pilots certification.

Upon graduation, Brandon was assigned to headquarters to work in the navigation office to plot courses for Starships and other duties. He was disappointed because he wanted to be on a Starship making a difference. Finally, when he realized it was his fathers influence holding him back, he put in for an immediate transfer and was assigned to the USS Alexandria.
